Gloucester City Library offers Choose Your Own Computer Classes on Thursday evenings and Friday mornings. Choose the class you want, on the day you want. Just call or stop in at the library to sign up for a convenient time slot, and let us know which class you’d like to take. (If a second person would like to take the same class at the same time, you may end up with a classmate.)
Available classes include Computer First Steps (New User Tutorial), Microsoft Word, Email Basics, and Internet Search: Jobs and More.
Time slots available for computer classes are most Thursdays at 6 p.m. and most Fridays at 10 a.m. Printed class calendars are available in the library entrance.
The library also offers help with the online unemployment application on Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Fridays at 11 a.m. (sign up required).
Library cardholders in good standing may sign up for training at the library Circulation Desk or by phone at (856) 456-4181. 24 hours notice is requested, and training is limited to one session on a topic per month. Library cards are free for Gloucester City residents; please bring proof of address.
